If you have ever seen the documentary, Exit through the Gift Shop, about Street art by Bansky (a famous street artist) you will know the space invader, who makes mosaic space invaders and sticks them around the streets. We saw signs of him everywhere in Paris and Amsterdam. Cody found this one, which I think is my favorite.

Giant Head
We went to Montmatre, which is an area north of Paris Central. It has been the bohemian area for many years and is known for having Salavdor Dali, Picasso, Hemingway, Monet, Van Gough and many others live there. If you get a chance to see the new Woody Allen movie: Midnight in Paris, it is a fantastic view into Montmatre and Paris in the 20s. Also, Amelie and Moulin Rouge have been filmed in this area.
We got off the metro and walked up to this four piece band playing. Fantastic.

Montmarte is on a hill and to get to the Sacre Couer, you can walk up a lot of steps or take the funicular train.

Cody washing is hands. Why?
Because you can, can, can!
The Arc De Triomphe, which is one of the most famous monuments in Paris. It is a monument for all of the falling soliders who died in the French Revolution and Napoleonic wars. In the middle is the tomb of the unknown solider which is guarded at all times.
It is also the start of the Champs-Elysees which is a Prestigious Avenue with designer shops and lined with Horse Chestnut trees.

Loxembourg Gardens is the second largest park in Paris, it is place where people come to relax.
This one is for my brother Nick. A restaurant named after you!
That night we had pizza at this funky place called the Pink Flamingo. We ended up just eating there, but you could order it, go sit at a bar or cafe or along the canal and they would deliver your pizza to you. They would give you a pink balloon so they could find you.
We did end up sharing a bottle of wine and sitting along the canal for awhile. This is a view from across the canal.

Paris we love you, it was such a fantastic couple of days.
