Scotland Adventures

We decided to take the train to Edinburgh, which is around a 5 hour train ride. Well it should have been. Our first train was delayed by 25 minutes and we only had a 20 minute layover at the next station. so we missed our connecting train. We got put on the next train, which wasn't so bad it was only an hour wait, so we got some drinks in the mean time.

We had reserved seats on both of the trains but since we missed our second train we didn't have seats. The train was so crowded and we had to stand for awhile. My mom was lucky and got a seat from the begining. My dad and I stood for about an hour and Kit stood for two hours. It was not the relaxing train ride that we had expected. But it could have been worse.

once we finally got seats, we enjoyed some Stellas and Scotland info.

Getting off the train this was our first view of Edinburgh. Beautiful!

We loved how beautiful and old Edinburgh was. Every kept telling us how much we would love it and we did! This is the main street of the Old Town of Edinburgh.

We walked up to Edinburgh castle (more on that castle in the next blog)

We walked around enjoyed the views and stopped into this small pub for some drinks.
