The bus had room for around 40 people and half of them were families with children under the age of one. This would not have been a problem if there hadn't been so many young children who screamed the entire trip. One child threw up all over the place and the parents didn't even try to clean it up. It got on our nerves just a bit.
But after it was all over, we had some good laughs about it and a ton of stories from the trip.
My mom and dad on the bus
Our tour went through downtown Glasgow which was exciting for Kit and I since our good friend Leona is from Glasgow.
Downtown Glasgow
After Glasgow we stopped at Loch Lomond where we went on a boat tour of the Loch.
The Loch
There were some beautiful houses along the Loch. This one is now a 5 star hotel that many famous people have stayed at including Michael Jackson.
Kit and the Loch
I can imagine it would have been beautiful on a sunny day.
This house is now a hostel. What a fantastic place to stay.
The Elams
The Keelens
It was a cold rainy day and the boat was very cold. So in typical Scottish fashion, my parents decided to get some whiskey to warm them up.
We stopped for lunch in a little village in between Loch Lomond and the Trossachs. It was a cute little village with beautiful views and cute baby animals.
You could get your picture taken holding a bird of prey like this one below.
I was in love with the lambs
The village
Next we took a drive through the rolling hills of the Trossachs. It was so beautiful. We got a new camera and loved taking pictures with it. Too bad the sun wasn't shining.
A castle we got to stop and take pictures of. I know there was a story about this castle and this loch that it sits on, but I don't remember it.
After the Trossachs we drove to Stirling Castle which was my favorite part of the trip!
