Been awhile

Sorry it has been so long since I last posted. April and May have been a very very busy month. Sara and Josh left, end of the year paperwork and getting things together for the summer. Any hoo,

We went to Rockford and Madison for mother's day weekend. It was wonderful. In Madison, I went to a bridal shower for Kit's cousin Ashley and kit went to the captial brewery. We then went to visit our friend Regan and Greg who just had the cutest baby boy, who you can see here.

It was wonderful to see them and hang out. When we got home on Sunday night, our power was out, b/c a branch from the tree behind us broke off and fell on our power line. It was crazy to see, it landed on our shed and fence but didn't do too much damage. Here is a picture below of what was left after the power company fixed the powerline. (it was our job to clean up the mess, good thing it was our neighbor's tree and they cleaned it up)

We went to one of the local orchard's and got strawberries today. They are so yummy and I am going to make a cobbler tomorrow!!
